Position Overview:
Join Optum and play a pivotal role in optimizing the patient experience and operational efficiency at one of our medical facilities. As an Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing administrative workflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance while upholding service excellence in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Schedule & Work Location:

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday

  • Business Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (occasional overtime or weekends may be required based on business needs)

  • Work Location: 7601 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY

  • Training: 4 weeks of paid on-the-job training, aligned with your schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a high-performing team, maintaining high service standards

  • Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, time off requests, and workflow coordination

  • Process and manage requests for documentation and various data needs

  • Distribute reports, performance results, and regulatory updates

  • Train and mentor team members to foster growth and accountability

  • Review documentation and track completion to meet compliance and regulatory standards

  • Promote the accuracy, accessibility, and relevance of health information

  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service

  • 2+ years of clerical or administrative experience

  • Prior experience in a supervisory, team lead, or managerial role

  • Must reside within a commutable distance to Brooklyn, NY

  • Availability to work scheduled shifts and flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Range: $23.70 – $46.35 (based on experience, education, certifications, and local labor market factors)
