Role Overview
As the Patient Support Program (PSP) Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and compliance of Patient Support Programs (PSPs) in line with Novartis global and local procedures. This role requires you to ensure seamless patient journey management and improve patient experience through effective coordination and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute PSP operations, ensuring proper resource and time allocation to meet all requirements.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders such as POP Champion, Medical, Procurement, Legal, Patient Safety, Compliance, and Innovation.
  • Work closely with the POP Champion and Pharmacovigilance Responsible (PVR) to monitor PSP performance and compliance, addressing issues like late AE reporting and non-compliance.
  • Manage the handover of activities during organizational changes or planned leaves and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Obtain necessary approvals (compliance and POPsys) for PSP activities in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the management of External Service Providers (ESPs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), ensuring all compliance and contract requirements are met.
  • Conduct Supplier Quality Assessments (SQA) and ensure all vendors are properly trained in Pharmacovigilance and data privacy.
  • Regularly reconcile enrollment forms and evidence to ensure correct patient support allocation.
  • Ensure quality checks on reports from vendors and track all required program activities (FPFC/LPLC dates, AER, SDV, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain PSP program materials in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Manage the program budget and ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
  • Support audits and inspections, and address any internal/external issues promptly.
  • Execute financial and legal tasks, including contract development, review, and payments.
  • Share program status and resolve any issues with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Strong adaptability to new technologies and passion for challenges.
  • A solid understanding of the patient and hospital environment.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
