Role Overview

We are seeking a Multilingual Medical Information Specialist to join our Medical Information Department. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical information services via phone and email, following comprehensive training on designated clients and products. Candidates must be fluent in both German and English at a C1 level. This position is fully remote and full-time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Answer technical inquiries via phone, email, and fax regarding designated products in an accurate, confident, and professional manner.
  • Adhere to specific working practices as agreed with clients.
  • Identify adverse events and defective product reports, handling and reporting these according to ProPharma SOPs and working practices.
  • Translate documents between English and the target language, ensuring quality and accuracy in responses delivered verbally or in writing.
  • Utilize standard responses to prepare medical information correspondence, coordinating with the Medical Information Support Services (MISS) department when necessary.
  • Log all inquiries accurately and comprehensively in a timely manner.
  • Manage confidential information in compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements and professional guidelines for providing medical information in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Conduct quality checks on adverse events, product quality complaints, and correspondence to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • A completed degree in Pharmacy or a related life science field.
  • Fluency in the target language (C1 level) and English.
  • Strong translation skills.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
