Overview:

Positive Leaps, a minority woman-owned company, is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinical Manager to oversee clinical training for interns and therapists. This role also involves maintaining a manageable caseload to provide services to clients and families. The manager will assist with monitoring clinical practices and provide ongoing evaluation and support to the Therapy Services Coordinator and Assistant Therapy Service Coordinator. The ideal candidate will work to ensure a safe and effective therapeutic environment aligned with Positive Leaps' values of diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Essential Duties:

  • Facilitate training and orientation for new hires and interns.
  • Support Therapy Services Coordinators with ongoing staff development.
  • Monitor clinical assessments, evaluations, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Provide mental health therapy services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing treatment.
  • Provide case management and document services for third-party payers.
  • Ensure implementation of Positive Leaps' policies and research-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Participate in after-hours crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Support interdepartmental collaboration to maintain ethical practice.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling
  • Independent licensure (LPCC/LISW) in Ohio required
  • Supervisor designation preferred (or commitment to completing hours for supervisory status)
  • Experience working with children and families strongly preferred
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call phone duties
