Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a Medical Writer II to support clinical development programs through expert preparation of scientific and regulatory documentation. Based in Farmingdale, NY with a hybrid work arrangement, this role is ideal for experienced writers passionate about clinical research and scientific communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and review clinical and regulatory documents, including CSRs, protocols, IBs, and patient narratives.

  • Support the development of scientific publications—manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and conference presentations—through literature review, data analysis, and interpretation.

  • Review and validate clinical trial data for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to study protocols and SOPs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client meetings to provide input on document structure, content, and timelines.

  • Remain up to date with evolving scientific trends, industry best practices, and global regulatory guidelines relevant to assigned therapeutic areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.

  • Proficient in medical and scientific terminology, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Solid analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret and convey clinical data and findings.

  • Familiarity with global regulatory requirements, publication standards, and document submission guidelines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with document and reference management systems is a plus.
