Responsibilities:

  • Develop, proofread, and data-check high-quality, client-ready scientific, medical, and educational materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, training decks, infographics, congress materials, literature reviews, and medical information letters.

  • Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders across therapeutic areas to anticipate and meet their needs.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.

  • Attend workshops, seminars, and trainings to enhance skills and organizational contribution.

  • Support senior team members during client meetings and external engagements.

  • Apply scientific and creative expertise to develop content for digital platforms, including publication extenders, infographics, interactive assets, and patient narratives.

  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to client SOPs, templates, preferences, and internal CACTUS guidelines.

  • Stay updated on developments across therapeutic areas to ensure cutting-edge research accessibility.

  • Share best practices to promote skill development within the team.

Qualifications and Prerequisites:

  • 1-3 years of experience in scientific writing.

  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with a solid understanding of clinical research and medical communications.

  • Experience in oncology publications; familiarity with gastric cancer publications preferred.

  • Strong scientific writing skills with exceptional attention to detail and excellent language proficiency.

  • Excellent client communication skills.

  • Ability to tailor writing style for different audiences and content types.

  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.

  • Strong literature review and evaluation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Availability for occasional travel to Mumbai office for business requirements.
