Job Description

Position: Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison

Overview:

The Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL will serve as a highly knowledgeable, field-based scientific expert in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL). This role involves engaging with healthcare professionals and leaders in clinical, scientific, value-based care, and research-focused exchanges around CTCL and Lymphir, a recombinant cytotoxic fusion protein. The MSL will build and maintain scientific relationships and collaborations with the hematology/oncology community, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare practitioners, and professional societies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary field contact for Medical Deployment.
  • Maintain expertise in oncology, specifically CTCL standards of care.
  • Develop and manage KOL engagement plans, identifying and nurturing long-term relationships with KOLs.
  • Conduct medical and scientific exchanges, including advisory boards.
  • Manage territory development, including KOL tracking and clinical program requests.
  • Support R&D teams with clinical trials and pre-launch KOL profiling.
  • Collaborate with commercial colleagues to align strategic imperatives in account engagement.
  • Provide feedback and insights from KOL interactions and represent the company at medical meetings and congresses.
  • Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • MSL: Minimum 2 years of MSL experience, with at least 1 year in Oncology.
    • Sr. MSL: Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience, with 3 years in oncology. Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred.
    • Prior product launch experience required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong scientific, business, and clinical acumen with excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to interpret and present scientific data effectively.
    • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, payer systems, and NCI Cooperative Groups.
    • Experience presenting to formulary and P&T committees.
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to travel frequently (70%) for meetings, site visits, and congresses.
