Job Title: Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

The Position:

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will engage in non-promotional, peer-to-peer exchanges of medical and scientific information with Scientific Leaders (SLs) and Key Decision Makers (KDMs). Your role is crucial in shaping the safety and efficacy landscape of our therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster non-promotional medical discussions with SLs and KDMs, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Acquire insights on diseases, therapeutic needs, and healthcare challenges within your region.
  • Represent Medical Affairs at medical events, contributing to scientific communications and summaries.
  • Respond to unsolicited inquiries regarding medical and product information using approved resources.
  • Organize and partake in various medical exchange activities, including lectures and advisory boards.
  • Provide support for Health Technology Assessments and formulary decisions.
  • Formulate and implement regional Medical Affairs Plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential investigators for studies and support commercial colleagues with scientific training.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer within therapeutic areas.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong scientific knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Proficiency in clinical trial methods and data interpretation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to foster trust and credibility.
  • Strong collaborative and project management skills.
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience and a degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.
