Job Description: The Medical Reviewer is responsible for assessing and handling clinical data and case reports, particularly Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reactions (SUSAR). Key responsibilities include authoring company clinical comments, editing periodic report comments, and managing queries and case updates within the Patient Safety database. The role demands meticulous attention to detail in reviewing medical data, ensuring compliance with both global and local procedural documents, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of marketed drugs under litigation.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Author and edit clinical and periodic report comments in the Patient Safety database.
  • Respond to queries from the Case Owner and detail requests for changes to the case.
  • Provide detailed follow-up information as required within the Patient Safety database.
  • Offer product advice, particularly for SUSAR cases.
  • Review medical sense of cases, including seriousness, coding, and associated clinical information.
  • Document reviews and case comments in the Medical Review workflow in Sapphire.
  • Ensure adherence to global and local procedural documents and policies.

  • Extensive medical knowledge with the ability to assess clinical data critically.
