Job Title: Records Department Associate (Bilingual - Spanish/English)

Location: Remote (Puerto Rico)

Position Summary: We are hiring for an entry-level position in our Records Department. This role requires great attention to detail and strong phone and computer skills. The position heavily emphasizes phone interactions with medical providers, so excellent organizational skills are essential. We are looking for bilingual speakers fluent in both Spanish and English.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $12 per hour
  • Health Insurance: Provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Records Management: Request and collect medical records and bills from healthcare providers, such as physicians' offices or hospitals.
  • Follow-Up and Data Entry: Follow up on requests sent weekly. Upon receipt of the records, perform data entry to securely store the relevant information in our database.
  • Customer Interaction: Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls. Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and ensure follow-up to confirm resolution. Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Communication: Excellent grammar and speaking skills.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience with medical record review.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
