Main Responsibilities:

Scientific Content Development:

  • Researches and authors scientific response documents under direction of the Global Medical Information (GMI) team.

  • Conducts literature searches, extracts and summarizes complex scientific data.

  • Creates and maintains evidence-based, current, fair-balanced content for designated therapeutic areas.

  • Adapts global response documents for local market use.

  • Develops responses to escalated medical inquiries.

  • Contributes to US NDA Annual Reports and US compendia reviews.

  • Provides peer review of content and assists other writers with knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Builds effective relationships with medical stakeholders and scientific community.

  • Interacts with medical, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory departments.

  • Collaborates closely with regional and global medical teams.

  • Coordinates with vendors and assists in needs analysis and content planning.

Process & Performance:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in medical information writing and regulatory requirements.

  • Implements content plans for assigned countries.

  • Delivers high-quality content (e.g., scientific responses, annual reports) within agreed timelines.

  • Uses customer feedback to refine content and delivery methods.


Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in medical writing in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Minimum 2–3 years in direct medical information writing at a pharmaceutical company.

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Biomedical field, or equivalent:

    • PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, or MBA in a relevant area.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong medical editing and writing skills.

  • Proficiency in literature evaluation, regulatory understanding, and content development.

  • Familiarity with medical operational excellence, risk and time management.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Languages:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
