Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Medical Information (MI) System Administrator, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for administering MI databases. Your role involves user support, troubleshooting, database creation and upgrades, change control, data migration, and user training.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Database Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of MI libraries and system validation activities.
  • Database Management: Query the MI database, generate outputs for internal and client use, and manage user access.
  • Training and Support: Provide database training and support to internal and client users, and ensure proper documentation of access requests.
  • Project-Specific Support: Configure and maintain project-specific MI databases, document and validate changes, support legacy data transfer, and provide guidance on data handling guidelines.
  • Output Preparation: Prepare line listings, tabulations, and other database outputs, and provide MI processing metrics for invoicing.
  • Company Support: Coordinate user access, maintain database procedures, provide user training and certification, investigate database deviations, and support business continuity testing.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT, database vendors, and technical colleagues to troubleshoot and implement software fixes and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with MI Systems.
