Role Overview

As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be pivotal in enhancing our relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. This role involves providing top-notch medical communications services, including responding to product information requests, identifying and managing adverse events and product quality issues, and performing medical writing.

Location: This is a remote position, ideally based in Poland, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, or Spain. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK.

Working Hours: Europe working hours between 8am-6pm CET, Monday to Friday. Occasional work on Bank Holidays may be required, with a day off in lieu.

Travel: Minimal, up to 10%.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate documents between English and the target language (e.g., French), delivering responses via phone or written communication.
  • Handle drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, and provide accurate information.
  • Identify and report adverse events and product complaints in compliance with relevant SOPs and regulations.
  • Write narratives for adverse events and product complaints, and coordinate quality-related complaint processes.
  • Utilize drug information skills to research and develop information for healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in miscellaneous projects including market research, system development, and sales training.
  • Maintain and enhance customer service and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare; Pharma D / M Pharma preferred, but other relevant degrees such as MSc in Life Sciences are acceptable.
  • Experience: Strong clinical background and experience in medical information or call center environments. Experience in medical writing and the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (C1 level) and native proficiency in French is essential. Additional languages such as Czech or German are beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong translation abilities, computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel), and familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems and Safety Databases.
