Position Overview

As a Medical Information Specialist at EVERSANA, you will be part of our Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing global inbox activities, including processing adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries. You will also support drug safety initiatives, coordinate processes related to quality complaints, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff. Your efforts will help ensure client success through the timely, accurate, and compliant handling of all inquiries and reports.


Key Responsibilities

  • Global Inbox & Case Management:

    • Manage the global inbox and process adverse event reports, product quality complaint reports, and medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients.
    • Accurately document and triage adverse event reports, product complaints, and medical inquiries for further investigation.
  • Data Entry & Reporting:

    • Write and file adverse event reports and product quality complaints using strong writing skills.
    • Ensure data entered is compliant with regulatory requirements and client performance standards.
  • Drug Safety & Quality Assurance:

    • Oversee processes necessary for responding to product quality complaints and adverse events.
    • Provide training to junior staff on quality-related procedures and ensure adherence to internal processes.
  • Mentorship & Team Leadership:

    • Mentor junior team members, providing ongoing training and support.
    • Perform quality monitoring and peer reviews to ensure the team’s work is compliant with industry standards.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Support other drug safety activities and medical communications tasks as specified by management.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Pharm.D, M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or any other degree in Life Sciences.
  • Skills & Experience:

    • Strong documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Previous experience in medical information, adverse event reporting, or pharmacovigilance is a plus.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with medical database management systems is an advantage.
