Position Summary:

The Medical Information Specialist plays a crucial role in providing scientifically balanced, evidence-based, non-promotional information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. This position is responsible for responding to unsolicited medical information inquiries and handling adverse events and product complaints. As part of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team, the Specialist will support multiple pharmaceutical clients, products, and therapeutic areas, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Medical Inquiries: Provide accurate and scientifically supported responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers. Research and critically evaluate medical literature to address inquiries.

  • Adverse Event and Product Complaint Handling: Identify adverse events and product complaints during customer interactions. Collect necessary information to generate reports in compliance with EVERSANA-MICC and client SOPs. Ensure compliance with FDA post-marketing adverse event reporting regulations.

  • Product Quality Complaints: Coordinate processes to respond to product quality-related complaints. Work with teams in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and others as needed.

  • Documentation and Customer Service: Maintain high-quality documentation for all medical information and customer interactions. Ensure excellent customer service throughout.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Pharm.D., Master of Science (MSc), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or another Life Sciences degree required.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong clinical background with excellent documentation and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

  • Prior experience in medical information, pharmacovigilance, or related fields is beneficial.
