Position Overview

As a Medical Information Specialist at EVERSANA, you will be part of our Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team, playing a crucial role in delivering accurate, evidence-based, and timely information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. Your responsibilities will include responding to medical inquiries, managing adverse event and product complaint reports, and ensuring that all interactions comply with regulatory and client standards. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and exceptional communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Information & Inquiry Handling:

    • Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers across multiple channels (phone, email, CRM, chat, etc.).
    • Research and critically evaluate medical literature to craft custom responses to medical inquiries.
  • Adverse Event & Product Complaint Management:

    • Identify and document adverse events and product complaints during interactions with customers.
    • Write narrative reports for adverse events and product complaints in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure thorough and accurate intake for adverse event and complaint reporting.
  • Product Quality Coordination:

    • Manage processes for responding to product quality complaints, collaborating with departments such as Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
    • Maintain knowledge of product-specific, therapeutic area, and client-specific requirements.
  • Documentation & Customer Service:

    • Ensure all medical information and adverse event reports are accurately documented and meet high-quality standards.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a patient-centric approach in all interactions.

  • Other Duties as Assigned:

    • Participate in additional medical communications and safety activities as required by the team and management.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Pharm.D, M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or any other Life Sciences degree.
  • Skills & Experience:

    • Strong clinical background and excellent documentation skills.
    • Experience in medical information, adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance, or related areas is preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with medical database systems is beneficial.
