Position: Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist (English and Danish)

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of Patient Safety, interacting directly with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients—the very individuals we strive to support. This high-visibility position is essential to our mission of ensuring patient safety. You will provide key medical information call center services and process safety and product quality information, helping to optimize the safety profiles of products across various therapeutic areas. This role offers flexibility: you can choose to work from home, in a hybrid setting, or from the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, and other needs (note: this does not include commercial sales support).
  • Process lifecycle safety operational data, perform data entry for tracking and lifecycle safety databases, code medical terminology, generate relevant queries, conduct quality control, drive case closure, and coordinate translations.
  • Receive and document incoming calls and emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting safety data.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment within the Lifecycle Safety team; lead by example and provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Regularly provide feedback to the operations team manager and Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) regarding project metrics and challenges.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager by proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions, and providing technical support, reports, metrics, and identifying changes to Statements of Work (SOW) and potential change orders.
  • Participate in training across Lifecycle Safety process service offerings and engage in working groups to implement new initiatives and identify process efficiencies.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science field is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum C1) and Danish (native or minimum C2).
  • Experience in Lifecycle Safety (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc.) is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining consistently high-quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize workload, and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
