Role Overview:

The Medical Engagement Associate (MEA) will be an integral part of the Patient Support Program (PSP) team, helping to support patient enrolment and ensuring adherence to prescribed therapy. The MEA will engage with patients regularly, provide counseling, track progress, and ensure data is accurately maintained in CRM tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Counseling & Support:

    • Provide counseling to patients for improved health outcomes based on predefined touchpoints.
    • Engage with patients regularly as per the program’s touchpoint plan.
    • Offer empathy and support to patients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Adherence Monitoring:

    • Track and ensure patients’ adherence to their prescribed therapies.
    • Manage the compliance and adherence process for all enrolled patients.
  • Adverse Events & Complaints:

    • Report adverse events and market complaints as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Data Management:

    • Ensure that patient data is accurately entered in the CRM tool, following brand-specific requirements.
    • Handle patient queries and provide responses from pre-defined FAQs.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Coordinate with other stakeholders to provide comprehensive patient support.
    • Review and take necessary approvals for financial deviations related to the program.

Desired Profile:

  • Experience:

    • 6 months to 1 year of experience in patient counseling or a similar role.
  • Education:

    • B. Pharma, BSc, or any similar Life Sciences graduate.
  • Skills:

    • Strong patient counseling skills.
    • Familiarity with MS Office.
    • Working knowledge of CRM tools.
