Role Overview:

The Medical Engagement Associate (MEA) will work with the Patient Support Program (PSP) team to support patient enrollment and ensure adherence to prescribed therapy. This role will focus on counseling patients, tracking their adherence, managing patient queries, and ensuring compliance with therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Counseling: Provide guidance to patients to improve health outcomes based on predefined touchpoints.
  • Adverse Event Reporting: Report adverse events or market complaints according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Patient Interaction: Connect with patients at regular intervals and track their adherence to therapy.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate patient data entry in the CRM tool, meeting brand requirements.
  • Coordination: Work with stakeholders to manage patient queries and provide responses from predefined FAQs.
  • Financial Approvals: Review and obtain approvals for any financial deviations.

Desired Profile:

  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in patient counseling or a similar role.
  • Education: B. Pharma, BSc, or any related life science degree.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
  • Empathy: Ability to empathize with patients and provide effective support.
