Role Overview

Position: Medical Editor
Location: Remote
Compensation: $56,000 - $80,000

The Medical Editor is crucial in delivering high-quality editorial services for pharmaceutical advertising materials. Responsibilities include editing, proofreading, and fact-checking digital and print materials, ensuring consistency and FDA compliance. As the brand’s main editorial voice, you will manage various brand tasks, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain brand style guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Editing & Proofreading: Edit and proofread pharmaceutical advertising materials for clarity, consistency, and accuracy in language, style, and formatting.
  • Claim Checking: Verify claims for accuracy and provide submission support as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to prepare promotional materials, including mobile apps, websites, and digital media.
  • Task Management: Handle multiple brand tasks with competing deadlines, coordinating with other Editorial team members.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain brand style guides and process documents.
  • Training: Support the onboarding and training of new Medical Editors.
  • Representation: Represent the Editorial department in internal meetings and status updates.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MS degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in editing within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 1 year in advertising or marketing.
  • Skills: Expertise in editing for language clarity, brand consistency, and accurate referencing. Experience with digital and print media is essential.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with various teams to deliver promotional materials for medical and regulatory submissions.

Compensation Details

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,000 to $80,000. This range is applicable only to locations within the U.S. Compensation will be based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications, and geographic location. EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this range.
