    Job Opportunity: Medical Director – Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation at Parexel

    We are seeking a Medical Director with a strong background in Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. This role can be performed remotely from select locations within the EMEA region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Medical Monitoring Delivery & PV Support:

      • Provide independent medical support for the successful delivery of projects in accordance with contractual agreements, either as a Global Lead Physician or Regional Lead Physician.
      • Ensure high-quality consultation on protocol development and drug development programs.
      • Conduct medical reviews of various documents and collaborate on internal therapeutic area meetings.

    • Client Relationship Building & Engagement:

      • Foster and maintain medical and consultative relationships with clients, addressing feedback and suggestions regarding study-related activities.

    • Business Development:

      • Contribute medical expertise and leadership during Proposal Development Teams (PDTs) for client bid pursuits.

    Skills:

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and sponsors.
    • Strong client-focused approach and excellent time management abilities.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in medical contexts, with proficiency in English.
    • Flexible attitude toward work assignments and eagerness to learn new concepts.
    • Ability to manage diverse tasks with enthusiasm and attention to detail in a matrix environment, valuing teamwork.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Extensive experience in clinical medicine, particularly in Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.
    • Background in the clinical aspects of drug development, including medical monitoring and study design/execution.
    • Familiarity with the drug development process and drug safety is preferred.
    • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Medicine and in leading or mentoring teams is advantageous.

    Education:

    • Medically qualified from a recognized medical school, with completion of basic clinical training (residency or internship).
