Job Description:

The Medical Director will collaborate with Planning, Account, and Creative teams to develop compelling medical strategies and content for digital and print media. The role involves identifying medical advances, conducting literature searches, analyzing clinical data, and performing competitive analysis. The Medical Director will also engage with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and clients, ensuring that promotional materials meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clinically engaging promotional and KOL materials, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.

  • Assist with medical strategy in pitches and proposals for new business development.

  • Provide medical insights for expert speaker communications, KOL engagements, and advisory boards.

  • Enhance medical literacy across contributing agency teams, ensuring understanding of disease states, clinical trials, and competition.

  • Guide submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and incorporate feedback.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record in communicating medical advances effectively.

  • Ability to develop medical strategy and content independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong understanding of clinical practice, with expertise in conducting literature reviews and interpreting clinical data.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with analytical and presentation abilities.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages preferred) with experience in European marketing regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MSci, PhD, MD, or PharmD) in medical sciences.

  • 4-5 years of experience in an agency or pharmaceutical industry supporting scientific communications, medical affairs, or medical education.

Salary Range:

  • $97,000 to $136,000 annually (applicable to U.S. locations).
