The Medical Director, Clinical Theranostics will play a pivotal role in advancing Telix’s strategic goals. This position leads the Field Medical Team, focusing on the development and execution of clinical theranostics strategies. With expertise in radiomics, imaging informatics, dosimetry, and PET imaging calibration, you will ensure Telix’s Field Medical Affairs activities align with GLP, ICH, GCP, and regulatory standards.

This role provides a unique opportunity to drive technical innovation, collaborate across teams, and lead initiatives that support Telix’s growing pipeline.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build, lead, and manage the Clinical Theranostics Specialist (CTS) team.
  • Recruit and retain top talent while fostering a positive, high-performance culture aligned with Telix values.
  • Define and execute team goals, performance expectations, and professional development plans.

Strategic Execution

  • Lead imaging strategies for product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and analyze imaging data for publication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish KPIs and tactics to align Field Medical Affairs activities with organizational objectives.

Collaborative Impact

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute clinical studies and medical strategies.
  • Build relationships with Key Imaging Leaders and external stakeholders to support investigational and approved products.
  • Support Telix clinical development, ensuring effective communication and execution across teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee imaging standardization, calibration, and optimization for prostate, renal, and brain imaging.
  • Provide expertise in computational image analysis and radiology image interpretation.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations, ethical standards, and Telix policies.

Education and Experience

  • Required:

    • MD or PhD with expertise in nuclear medicine.
    • 8+ years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent.
    • 2+ years of management experience.
    • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
  • Preferred:

    • Experience in radiopharmaceuticals or oncology.
    • Expertise in interpreting scientific data, market research, and competitive intelligence.
    • Proven track record of building high-performing field-based teams.
