Medical Director – Remote Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director for a primarily remote role, with occasional in-office meetings and home visits. This position does not involve managing a patient panel but requires providing coverage and conducting ad hoc visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote Work: Primarily work from home with weekly team meetings at an office and occasional patient home visits.
  • Clinical Leadership: Support clinical coverage and drive quality patient care in partnership with Care Teams.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach providers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Metrics & Quality: Utilize a metrics-driven approach to enhance medical care and achieve quality project goals.
  • Patient Care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality primary care to Medicare patients in their homes, emphasizing preventive care and chronic disease management.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Experience: 3+ years in outpatient practice preferred; clinical leadership experience required.
  • Advanced Degrees: Fellowship in Geriatrics or other advanced degrees (e.g., M.B.A., J.D., M.P.H.) and prior executive roles are welcomed but not required.
  • Skills: Proven track record in driving teams toward achieving metrics, with a passion for mentorship and team development.
  • Attitude: Flexible, positive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
