Work Hours / Shift:

8:30 AM – 5:00 PM


Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
  • Perform regular cleaning of common areas, including hallways, production floors, locker rooms, changing rooms, and storage areas.
  • Clean, scrub, and rinse equipment, parts, drums, and tools per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Apply cleaning agents and sanitizing solutions as per company protocols.
  • Dispose of waste in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages.
  • Handle and store cleaning agents and hazardous materials safely.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning activities for audits.
  • Participate in training programs on updated cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
  • Transport heavy or bulky items using carts, forklifts, and pallet jacks, following safety regulations.
  • Distribute supplies to production areas as required.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Experience:

  • 0 to 3 years of direct experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in generic pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • No restrictions on working with powder-containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
  • Ability to lift and bend frequently.
  • Long periods of standing/walking; ability to ascend/descend ladders.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to move pallets/equipment weighing 200 – 300 kgs using pallet jacks.

Salary Disclaimer:

The anticipated base salary range is $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, subject to factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Geographic location may also impact salary. Additionally, this position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and company benefits.
