    Job Description: Managing Consultant

    We are seeking a dynamic Managing Consultant to join our expanding team at Navitas Life Sciences. In this pivotal role, you will lead consultancy projects, build and nurture client relationships, and drive business development efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership:

      • Lead and oversee a portfolio of consultancy projects to ensure the delivery of effective and robust client solutions.
      • Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing project delivery from initial brief through to final delivery.
      • Define project requirements with clients, develop project scopes, and prepare business cases and statements of work.
      • Prepare comprehensive project management plans, including project structure, controls, reporting tools, and routine status reports.
      • Track and manage project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, documentation, and timelines.
      • Optimize project resources and profitability, ensuring successful and timely project execution.

    • Client Relationship Management:

      • Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate revenue and support business growth.
      • Market and sell Navitas Life Sciences services, aiming to contribute to revenue growth of $500k.
      • Conduct new business development activities, including proposal development and client-focused, needs-based solutions.
      • Manage client relationships for 4-5 key clients, ensuring effective communication, solution development, and relationship extension.

    • Team Leadership and Development:

      • Mentor, train, and coach project team members, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
      • Provide direction, support, and feedback to project team members (2-6 individuals), setting clear objectives and supporting their development.

    • Company Role Model:

      • Act as a role model within Navitas Life Sciences, leading company initiatives and contributing to collateral development.
      • Engage in strategic themes, internal projects, and business improvement initiatives.
      • Develop project collateral, such as case studies, new concepts, and best practice materials.
      • Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), capturing and disseminating knowledge across the organization.
      • Lead company meetings and enthusiastically embody company values and leadership principles.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Experience:

      • Minimum of 8 years in the life sciences or consulting industry, including:
        • 4 years in a senior consulting role
        • 3 years in a life sciences/pharma industry role
        • 2 years in a business development role
      • Expertise in at least one of the following areas is preferred:
        • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
        • Clinical Development Processes
        • Labelling and Regulatory Affairs
        • Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance

    • Skills:

      • Strong consulting skills with experience in methodologies and tools.
      • Excellent communication skills and strong facilitation abilities.
      • Proven client and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at senior levels.
      • Exceptional project management capabilities, including managing complexity, resources, and profitability.
      • Demonstrated business development success, including lead generation, client briefs, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
      • Strong leadership skills, with a self-starter attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
