    Job Description: Managing Consultant

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Consultant to join our expanding team at Navitas Life Sciences. In this pivotal role, you will lead client engagements, oversee consultancy projects, and drive business development efforts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership:

      • Lead a portfolio of consultancy projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of robust client solutions.
      • Serve as the primary client contact, managing all aspects of project delivery.
      • Define project requirements with clients, prepare business cases, and develop statements of work.
      • Create and manage project plans, structures, controls, and reporting tools, including routine status reports.
      • Oversee project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, documentation, and timelines.
      • Drive project resources and manage profitability effectively.
      • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on projects and Navitas Life Sciences industry-leading networks, contributing to the brand’s reputation.

    • Client Relationship Management and Business Development:

      • Build and nurture client relationships to generate revenue and support business growth, targeting $500k in sales.
      • Engage in business development activities, including creating client-focused proposals and conducting new business development.
      • Ensure effective communication and solution development with clients, extending relationships with 4-5 key clients.

    • Team Management and Development:

      • Mentor, train, and coach project team members (2-6), fostering teamwork and supporting their professional development.
      • Set clear project objectives, provide feedback, and guide team members toward their goals.

    • Role Model and Company Initiatives:

      • Act as a role model within Navitas Life Sciences, leading company initiatives and contributing to collateral development.
      • Participate actively in strategic themes, internal projects, and business improvement initiatives.
      • Develop and disseminate knowledge through collateral such as case studies, new concepts, and best practices.
      • Lead company meetings and embody the company’s values and standards.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Experience:

      • 8 years in the Life Sciences industry or consulting, including:
        • 4 years in a senior consulting role
        • 3 years in a Life Sciences/Pharma industry role
        • 2 years in a business development role

    • Expertise:

      • Preferred experience in one of the following areas:
        • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
        • Clinical Development Processes
        • Labelling and Regulatory Affairs
        • Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance

    • Skills:

      • Advanced consulting skills with a strong grasp of methodologies and tools.
      • Compelling communication and facilitation skills.
      • Strong client and stakeholder management, including senior-level interactions and social awareness.
      • Excellent project management capabilities, including handling complexity, managing resources, and ensuring profitability.
      • Proven business development success, including lead generation, client briefings, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
      • Demonstrated leadership skills, gravitas, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
