Position Overview

We are seeking a Managing Analyst to lead a dynamic team focused on pharmaceutical pricing data, working closely with clients and internal teams. This role will involve managing a team of associates, handling client queries, creating customized reports, and supporting various pricing-related functions, including price changes, patent expiry, generic substitutions, and more.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Oversee a team working on pharmaceutical domain processes, ensuring timely delivery according to agreed contracts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Create customized Excel reports based on client requirements. Analyze and interpret pricing data and market trends.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with requests related to price changes, patent expiry, generic substitution, and indication-based reimbursement.
  • Quality & Performance Management: Monitor team performance, quality management, and attrition rates. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize team productivity.
  • Market Research: Conduct secondary research and data analysis related to pharmaceutical pricing and market access, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards in various markets, including the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage resource allocation to ensure efficiency and quality in delivery.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates on project status and resolving queries.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 4-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in pricing, market access, or data analysis.
    • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and market research skills (data interpretation and secondary research).
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (USA, Europe, Japan).
    • Basic knowledge of SQL and Macros is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in pharmacy, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical thinking, conceptual reasoning, and effective time management.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
