Job Description:

  • Work Schedule: On-site
  • Pay Rate: $54.15-$57 per hour

This contractor role is within the LIFE (Liver, Inflammation, Fibrosis, and Established Products) Medical Affairs organization, reporting to the Executive Director of Global Medical Affairs for Hepatitis C. This global role involves the development and execution of strategies for products in the LIFE franchise, with a focus on Hepatitis B.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various departments.
  • Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise regarding LIFE products and the company pipeline.
  • Prepare presentation materials for internal and external meetings, including Advisory Boards.
  • Serve as a resource and trainer for Company colleagues, including medical educational activities and investigator-sponsored studies.
  • Support data generation activities and manage the HBV Phase IV portfolio.
  • Review abstracts and manuscripts resulting from the Phase IV program.
  • Provide medical and scientific support at key scientific meetings.
  • Oversee the medical and scientific review of promotional materials.
  • Perform additional tasks to support LIFE Medical Affairs as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills for project planning across multiple activities.
  • Team-oriented with a detail-oriented approach and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in public health or Internal Medicine is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for clinical trials.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; M.D., D.O., PhD, or PharmD preferred.
  • Prior experience in hepatology, infectious diseases, virology, or clinical virology is a plus.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research, particularly with Phase IIIb and IV studies.
