Job Title: Manager, Global HIV Medical Affairs (Contract)

Location: Foster City, California (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $78.43 - $82.56 per hour

Job Type: Contract (9 months)

Job Overview:
Maxonic is supporting our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, in the search for a highly motivated Manager, Global HIV Medical Affairs. This role will support current HIV Daily Oral Treatment strategies and contribute to various medical affairs activities, including data analysis, content creation, and global collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in HIV medical affairs and a passion for improving person-centric HIV care and treatment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key contributor and knowledge expert for Global HIV Treatment Medical Affairs.
  • Manage projects related to new and emerging data, incorporating relevant information into medical content and training.
  • Participate in global activities, including conference data management and medical sub-team meetings.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and updates of medical training deliverables such as slide decks and response documents.
  • Collaborate with the Global Medical Affairs team to develop and align on the global Plan of Action.
  • Maintain and update the HIV Sharepoint Page to disseminate information on HIV treatment products.
  • Support HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs and provide ad hoc support to cross-functional teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research, and Clinical Pharmacology teams to address medical inquiries.
  • Manage projects to completion, overcoming obstacles and ensuring successful delivery.

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD, or other advanced healthcare degree.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Relevant clinical and scientific experience in HIV is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to synthesize complex findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
