Job Title: Manager, Clinical Data Science

Location: India (Chennai/Bangalore)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure technical Data Management deliverables are consistently completed on time and meet quality standards.

  • Align department, program, and study-level goals and objectives to achieve the highest quality outcomes.

  • Track and report staff workload to optimize resource management and ensure effective utilization.

  • Provide technical and managerial leadership, including mentorship and training for direct reports.

  • Present team performance in sponsor meetings and identify improvement areas.

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to foster team development.

  • Conduct interim and annual performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and propose development plans for direct reports.

  • Provide feedback to the Operations team regarding direct reports’ performance and initiate follow-up reviews as needed.

  • Represent the organization during internal, external, and sponsor audits and manage audit findings through resolution.

  • Accurately record all billable and non-billable time into the appropriate time management system and approve timesheets for direct reports.

  • Monitor study team productivity and performance continuously.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication, project management, and solution-based approaches.

  • Generate and analyze key metrics, share insights with leadership, and lead discussions on program performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Management Programming.

  • Hands-on experience with EDC Programming tools, preferably Rave; knowledge of SAS/Visualization tools.

  • Strong technical and functional expertise to support team members effectively.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and project management skills.

  • Proven leadership experience, including recruitment, training, and mentoring.
