Position: Phlebotomist

Location: 5 Mobile Infirmary Cir., Mobile, AL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests.
  • Accurately enter patient information into our systems.
  • Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Travel to additional sites when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is required; proof must be provided unless qualified for medical or religious accommodations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills and a proven track record in patient interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
