This job summary is for a Field Sales Executive position at Abbott, a global healthcare leader. The role focuses on driving sales and market share growth within the assigned division, building customer relationships, and ensuring efficient product distribution. It also involves leveraging marketing and managerial support to meet company targets and engage effectively with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed primary and secondary sales targets within the division.
  • Prescription Generation: Increase market share and generate maximum prescriptions.
  • Stock Management: Ensure no expiry of products on stockist shelves by timely liquidation through prescription generation.
  • Market Intelligence: Share competitor and market information with the Area Business Manager (ABM) and division.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with customers and stockists, visiting stockists as per the defined frequency.
  • Doctor Engagement: Prioritize and meet doctors at the right frequency to maximize engagement.
  • Product Introduction: Plan for new product launches, ensuring stocking as per plan and monitoring sales progress.
  • Field Reporting: Report field work on a daily basis using the assigned online system.
  • Event Organization: Organize CME (Continuing Medical Education) camps as per division strategy and customer needs.
  • Generate POBs (Purchase Orders): Generate POBs for Abbott brands as per the business plan.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales (preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry).
  • Freshers with strong communication and analytical skills will also be considered.

Required Qualification:

  • B.Sc. or B. Pharma degree.
