Team Lead - CDM/PV

Qualification:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate/Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

Business/Customer:

  • Minimal customer interaction under guidance
  • Understands domain processes/sub-processes, functions, and terminologies (e.g., SOP, QC checklists)
  • Performs data entry of data received from source documents into the respective Clinical/Safety database, ensuring accuracy and meeting turnaround times
  • Handles more critical/sensitive transactions

CODING:

  • Performs coding activities on assigned projects with timelines and efficiency
  • Imports uncoded terms into the database and exports coded medical terms from the coding platform
  • Manages queries
  • Creates and prioritizes “New Term Requests”
  • Performs Dictionary upversioning activities as required

CDM:

  • Performs migrations, setup, and close-out activities, along with study conduct activities under supervision and quality checks from Team Lead
  • Conducts peer QC of TJDA activities
  • Generates study-related reports and status updates
  • Manages study-related email communication with internal stakeholders and clients

Project/Process:

  • Attempts to resolve complex problems and refers to Supervisor/Line Manager when necessary
  • Handles first-level processing of transactions
  • Adheres to quality requirements and achieves targets/volumes within given TAT (Turnaround Time)
  • Proactively identifies issues and contributes to process improvement initiatives
  • Identifies and reports process changes
  • Complies with mandatory industry regulations and process requirements

Knowledge Management:

  • Updates process documentation as appropriate under guidance
  • Participates in knowledge transfer

People/Team Management:

  • Adheres to organizational hygiene and compliance needs:
    • Personal utilization and timesheet submission
    • Personal and new hire assimilation
    • Attendance
    • Team initiatives
  • Collates team performance metrics
  • Manages break schedules and transport logistics for the team in the absence of a supervisor

Must-Have Skills:

  • Pharma clinical process
  • Clinical trial management
  • Clinical data management
