Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Data Team Lead (CDTL) to oversee world-class data management projects that advance scientific research. In this role, you will lead and manage data activities for clinical studies, ensuring flawless execution, adherence to project protocols, and effective communication across teams and clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management Leadership: Lead data management activities for studies of limited complexity with senior support, ensuring all tasks adhere to project protocols.
  • Client & Interdepartmental Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the Project Lead, clients, and the data management team, ensuring smooth data-related operations.
  • Project Oversight: Develop and maintain project documentation, review deliverables, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide training to project staff and junior team members on study protocols and data management processes.
  • Business Development: Assist with bid preparation and represent data management at bid defense meetings.
  • Resource Forecasting: Support project forecasting, identify resource needs, and highlight potential out-of-scope activities to the Project Lead and management.
  • Reporting & Status Updates: Produce regular status reports and track project progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Administrative & Financial Support: Assist in the administrative and financial management of allocated projects, ensuring budgets are maintained and project timelines are met.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic qualification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data management or a related field. Relevant education, training, and experience may be considered sufficient.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with interactive computer programs and data management software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Independence & Confidentiality: Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships.
  • Leadership: Experience in training, mentoring, and leading study teams, with the ability to manage timelines and adjust schedules when needed.
