Position Overview
As a Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist at IQVIA, you will be at the forefront of Patient Safety, directly engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients—who are the heart of our mission. This highly visible and essential role supports our core goal of patient safety by providing medical information and processing adverse event reports. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work Home-Based, Hybrid, or Office-Based—the choice is yours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers, addressing adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, and other related concerns (excluding commercial sales support).
  • Process lifecycle safety operational data, including data entry for tracking and safety databases, coding medical terminology, generating queries, performing quality control, and ensuring timely case closures.
  • Receive and document incoming safety data from investigative sites and other sources.
  • Collaborate with the Lifecycle safety team, providing training and mentorship to less experienced members.
  • Offer regular feedback on project metrics and challenges to the operations team manager and Customer Delivery Manager (CDM).
  • Proactively identify issues, suggest solutions, and provide technical support, reports, and metrics to Project Managers.
  • Participate in training sessions, working groups for new initiatives, and the identification and implementation of process efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English (C1) and Danish (C2/native). Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
  • Experience in Lifecycle safety (Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc.) is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
