Job Purpose:

The Territory Executive / Sr. Territory Executive is responsible for achieving and exceeding the sales budget for assigned products within a specific geographic territory. This role involves independently managing customer coverage and implementing sales promotions in line with established policies. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between Pfizer and medical professionals, providing detailed information on product benefits and patient care. The role requires adherence to Pfizer’s sales and distribution policies while effectively communicating and executing marketing strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic/Policy:

    • Achieve and exceed sales budgets for the assigned territory by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
    • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to the District Manager for forecasting and planning.
    • Classify and prioritize medical practitioners in the territory to optimize sales efforts and tailor promotional messaging.
    • Maintain compliance with Pfizer’s policies and procedures while adhering to planned coverage and promotional activities.
  2. Operational/Process:

    • Regularly visit chemists, retailers, and medical practitioners to drive sales, collect competitive intelligence, and ensure product availability.
    • Manage inventory, display promotional materials, and handle order bookings to meet market demand.
    • Prepare and deliver tailored product presentations and promotional materials, especially during new product launches and campaigns.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports of daily activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
  3. People:

    • Mentor and support trainee PSOs or other field trainees as assigned, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.
    • Promote Pfizer’s values and foster a collaborative team environment to achieve both individual and team goals.
  4. Financial:

    • Ensure the achievement of sales targets and assist with receivables collection as needed.
    • Manage the allocation and use of product samples, detailing aids, and other promotional materials.
    • Oversee accurate accounting and reporting of expenses related to sales activities.
  5. Technology:

    • Leverage technology solutions to enhance information availability and field operations efficiency.
    • Stay updated on technological advancements to improve operational effectiveness and field performance.
