As the Head of Strategic Access and Partnerships, you will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge pricing, market access strategies, and patient access solutions. You’ll be instrumental in driving optimal affordability, reimbursement, and adoption of Novartis products, creating long-term relationships across key disease areas and accounts.

About the Role

In this strategic leadership role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving customer-centricity and delivering triple-wins by aligning innovative access strategies with customer needs.
  • Developing and implementing access strategies to support early-stage assets and maximize product impact at launch.
  • Displaying agility and fostering a growth mindset while navigating the dynamic healthcare ecosystem.
  • Building and implementing sustainable stakeholder management plans for key accounts, particularly in the public sector.
  • Leading the development and execution of patient access strategies at state and large key accounts.
  • Cultivating strong professional relationships with government authorities, healthcare providers, and decision-makers to anticipate and influence legislative trends.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance penetration into key government accounts.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Reimbursement/listing status, pricing vs. targets, time to reimbursement/access.
  • Revenue growth, market availability, and access.
  • Effective management of local systems and processes for optimal patient access.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation in any stream, with an MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a proven track record in managing State Government Key Accounts.
  • Previous people management experience is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of the changing dynamics in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
