Position Summary/Objective: The Global Trial Specialist (GTS) contributes to the operational execution of clinical studies and supports complex global trials. This role involves providing operational input on study deliverables, driving process enhancements, and managing documentation and supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and management of clinical studies.
  • Collaborate with teams to address country/regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Global Trial Manager (GTM) in driving study execution.
  • Manage study-level documentation and ensure eTMF accuracy.
  • Facilitate vendor creation and payment processing.
  • Identify issues and risks, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in study team meetings, capturing minutes and agendas.
  • Engage in filing activities and audits as necessary.

Degree Requirements:

  • BA/BS or Associate degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Clinical Trial Management Systems and Clinical Trial Master File Systems is a plus.
  • Experience in clinical research or related fields is preferred.

Key Competency Requirements:

Technical Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of clinical research budgets and vendor payment tracking.
  • Understanding of ICH/GCP and regulatory guidelines.

Management Competencies:

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the study team.
  • Adapt flexibly to changing business demands.
  • Display effective communication skills and leadership capabilities.
