Job Overview:

Fortrea is excited to invite a Global HR Partner to join our dynamic HR team. This key role will partner with leadership teams and act as the main point-of-contact for all HR services, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of HR solutions that align with business needs. The Global HR Partner will play a pivotal role in driving HR strategies, building strong business relationships, and supporting a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Essential Job Duties:

As a Global HR Partner, your role will focus on building relationships, shaping HR strategies, and supporting the growth and performance of the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with business and HR leaders. Translate business strategies into long-term people strategies and HR agendas.
  • Support Business Strategy: Partner with HR Business Units (BU), Centers of Excellence (COE), and business leaders to support the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • HR Initiatives & Innovation: Drive innovation, employee engagement, and process improvement initiatives within the HR function and the broader business.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with business leaders to support organizational performance, and lead change management efforts.
  • HR Process Oversight: Oversee the local implementation of global HR processes, ensuring alignment with regional and global HR strategies.
  • Talent Management & Development: Support the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent, ensuring alignment with business growth agendas.
  • Compliance & Fairness: Apply consistency in adherence to HR regulations, compliance, and policies, ensuring fairness and equitable treatment of employees.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide coaching and development support for managers and teams to enhance their leadership capabilities.
  • Core HR Processes: Manage core HR processes, including performance management, talent management, and employee development.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in HR, including a combination of HR and business leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Canadian regulations and experience supporting Canadian-based employees is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating and implementing HR strategies across diverse teams.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) required.
  • Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.

Pay Range:

$120,000 - $135,000 base annual salary
