Payrate: $60/hr - $77/hr (W2)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Global HIV Medical Affairs Manager to join our Global Medical Affairs team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to person-centric HIV care and treatment strategies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven success in the biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in HIV treatment.

This position is instrumental in supporting current HIV Daily Oral Treatment strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Global and US Medical Affairs, to drive impactful medical initiatives. The Manager will report to the Director and work on a wide range of projects related to HIV treatment. This is a 9-month contract role with a flexible remote work option, though candidates local to Foster City or Stockley Park will need to be onsite three days a week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Serve as a key contributor and knowledge expert for Global HIV Treatment Medical Affairs, ensuring up-to-date medical content for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Manage projects related to emerging data analysis, incorporating relevant findings into medical content and training materials.

  • Medical Affairs Support: Participate in global activities, including managing conference data, medical sub-team meetings, and assisting in the creation of training materials.

  • Document Creation: Oversee the creation, review, and updating of medical training materials, such as slide decks, local and global response documents.

  • Global Coordination: Help develop and align the Global Plan of Action for HIV treatment initiatives, ensuring smooth execution across global teams.

  • HIV Information Sharing: Develop and maintain the HIV SharePoint Page to disseminate information on current and future HIV treatment products.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research, and Clinical Pharmacology teams to support responses to medical inquiries.

  • Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, proactively identifying and resolving obstacles to ensure timely and successful delivery.

  • Ad hoc Support: Provide support to global HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs and contribute to HIV-related data initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Education: MD, DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD, or other advanced healthcare degree required.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of industry experience in medical affairs preferred, with relevant clinical and scientific experience in HIV.

  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations.

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Commitment to Learning: Must be committed to ongoing education to maintain and expand knowledge of HIV treatment and medical affairs.
