About the Role

This posting is not for an immediate opening but to build a talent pool of Pharmacists with PhDs for future Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) opportunities at Pfizer.

As a Medical Affairs Scientist, you will provide advanced medical and scientific expertise to support healthcare professionals, professional associations, patient groups, and key decision-makers. Your work will drive the development and implementation of local medical strategies and life-cycle clinical plans for Pfizer’s inline and pipeline medicines in the designated therapy area. This role aims to enhance patient outcomes, improve clinical practices, and support Pfizer’s business objectives across national, regional, and corporate levels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute local medical strategies and life-cycle clinical plans.
  • Advocate the safe and appropriate use of Pfizer medicines while demonstrating their value.
  • Showcase the impact of innovative treatments through real-world evidence.
  • Create compelling face-to-face (F2F) and digital educational and scientific content.
  • Prioritize patient needs within medical strategies.
  • Provide expert scientific insights and ensure high-quality scientific exchanges.
  • Position Pfizer as a preferred research partner for healthcare professionals.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Review and approve medical materials and activities per Ministry of Health (MoH), AIFD, and company compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Pharmacist with a PhD.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with national healthcare systems, funding, and reimbursement structures; health economics, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Experience: Background in real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) generation, as well as clinical research.
  • Language: Fluency in Turkish and English.
