Recently, we have expanded our offerings with Incision Assist, a workflow support product for operating rooms, and continue to roll out new functionalities designed to elevate surgical operations worldwide.

    What Will You Do?

    As a Freelance Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a key role in the creation of a new e-learning program focused on Endoscopes in Sterile Processing. This program is a continuation of our successful 21-course Sterile Processing Program used by hospitals and colleges throughout the United States. Your expertise will help enhance foundational knowledge and provide practical guidance on endoscope reprocessing best practices.

    Your Role in Detail:

    • Collaborate with Our Team: Meet online with the development team (writers, medical experts, video editors, animators, and e-learning developers) to brainstorm ideas and outline the course content.
    • Serve as SME: Act as the primary point of contact for content-related questions throughout the development process. You will use your deep understanding of sterile processing and endoscope reprocessing to guide course content creation.
    • Review and Provide Feedback:
      • Review initial course drafts and provide critical feedback on the educational text.
      • Evaluate final course materials, including text, videos, and 3D media, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
    • Ensure High-Quality Content: Use your professional experience to ensure that the program accurately represents endoscope reprocessing best practices, with clear visual and practical examples for learners.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in reprocessing flexible endoscopes in a Sterile Processing Department or Endoscopy Suite, or experience as a Sterile Processing consultant in the U.S.
    • Expert Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ST91 guidelines.
    • Leadership Experience: Experience as a Manager, Educator, or Preceptor in Sterile Processing is a plus.
    • Writing Experience: Any background in writing or publishing educational content will be considered a plus.
    • Availability: Available from mid-October 2024 to June 2025, with flexible hours ranging from 0-8 hours per week.
    • Communication Skills: Prompt in responding to emails and flexible to meet with colleagues based in Amsterdam during online meetings.
