We have recently launched our Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Assessment Service, Braincussion, in the USA, raised over $60M in VC funding, and are projected to grow over 300% in 2024.

Role Overview:

We are seeking exceptional part-time Neuropsychologists to support clinical evaluations for our national virtual TBI assessment service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain extensive experience in concussion testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical evaluations for patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) using FDA-approved testing protocols.
  • Collaborate with a team of Neuropsychologists and work directly with Dr. Doran, who brings over 30 years of experience in the field.
  • Provide detailed assessments and interpretations to support comprehensive patient care.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in mTBI Assessment: Prior experience with mTBI evaluations, including familiarity with relevant tools and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Traumatic Brain Injury: Deep understanding of the neurobiological, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral effects of traumatic brain injury.
  • Proficiency in Neuropsychological Assessment: Skilled in administering, scoring, and interpreting tests such as RBANS, CNS Vital Signs, and ImPACT.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals like neurologists, neurosurgeons, and therapists.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly convey findings to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Continued Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in neuropsychology and traumatic brain injury.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of APA-Accredited Internship: Internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Post-Doctoral Training: Post-doctoral fellowship or training in neuropsychology.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a psychologist.
  • PSYPACT Participation: Registration and compliance with the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) for practicing across state lines, if applicable.

Compensation:

  • Annual Pay Rate: $400,000 (freelance)
