Position: Field Medical Trial Acceleration Director
Location: Field, USA

About the Role:
The Field Medical Trial Acceleration Director is responsible for shaping and executing the US Therapy Area (TA) Field Medical Trial Execution Strategy. The role focuses on driving trial success through innovative solutions, aligning with internal teams, and ensuring timely and efficient trial execution. This position requires creative approaches to meet the evolving needs of alternative platforms and medicines while providing ongoing support to field medical teams and trial sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the US TA National Director in setting clinical trial priorities, executing recruitment strategies, and implementing success metrics to drive trial success.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of the TA Field Medical Annual Clinical Trial Plan, trial input on the quarterly action plan, and coordination of recruitment and referral strategies.
  • Translate trial strategies into actionable field initiatives, including investigator engagement and innovative approaches to recruitment and referrals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Medical Direction, GDD, GCO, and others to ensure alignment with clinical trial strategies.
  • Deliver communications and processes to share the impact of field initiatives and insights gathered from external stakeholders.
  • Identify and revise Key Intelligence Topics (KITS) for clinical trial programs in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Simplify and streamline communication and alignment across teams for clinical trial execution.
  • Provide guidance and training on trial strategies, including MSL Clinical Trial training and resource development.
  • Design and execute field trial communications, ensuring timely and efficient dissemination of information.
  • Partner with CSPTs and MTLs to understand field needs and ensure successful trial execution.
  • Support coaching and development of new and experienced MSLs.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) with 7+ years of Medical Affairs or relevant healthcare experience.
  • Experience in navigating complex organizations and driving action across multiple teams.
  • External customer-facing experience (e.g., Medical Science Liaison, Medical Director, Clinical Research roles).
  • Deep understanding of clinical development, healthcare landscapes, and trial site management.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in matrixed, cross-functional, and global environments.
  • Proven decision-making skills and leadership ability to manage multiple projects.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Expected salary range: $204,400 - $379,600 annually.
  • Total compensation package may include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and additional benefits such as medical, financial, and paid time off (vacation, sick time, parental leave).
