  • Partner with stakeholders to identify gaps in the patient experience and inform medical/product strategies.

Strategic Relationship Management:

  • Develop peer-level relationships with HCPs, medical and scientific experts, and collaborate with internal teams to engage non-traditional stakeholders (e.g., policy makers, government officials, and innovative solution providers).

  • Identify key investigators for pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing studies in alignment with Medical Plans.

  • Establish partnerships with both traditional and non-traditional stakeholders to deliver strategic, scalable, and sustainable solutions addressing patient healthcare access gaps.

Regulatory and Compliance Adherence:

  • Maintain a solid understanding of pharmacovigilance and GxP principles, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the reporting of adverse events (AEs).

  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and AstraZeneca’s Global Field Medical Standards, and local regulations, including clinical trials, promotional activities, and pharmacovigilance activities.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively using a variety of channels.

  • Strong project management and presentation skills.

  • High-level analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities.

Desirable:

  • Doctoral degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D.).

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, clinical or preclinical research, and therapeutic area disease state knowledge.

  • Expertise in drug discovery, drug development, and KEE interactions.
