    Position: Experienced Researcher – Pre-Clinical Studies

    Company Overview:

    Novocure is a global, publicly traded oncology company dedicated to developing innovative cancer treatments through our proprietary technology known as tumor treating fields (TTFields). Our non-invasive therapy targets solid tumors by inducing tumor cell death to slow or reverse cancer progression. Currently, our commercialized product, Optune, is approved for treating glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel. We are expanding our clinical trials into other solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an Experienced Researcher to join our Pre-Clinical Studies team. In this role, you will lead and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the development of new commercial applications and scientific insights. You will work under the guidance of the head of the innovative research team to achieve project objectives and will be responsible for preparing materials for international conferences and publishing research findings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, design, and conduct experiments, ensuring adherence to quality standards and data integrity.
    • Maintain thorough documentation and track relevant literature in your research field.
    • Develop and implement novel ideas to enhance treatment methods and experimental procedures.
    • Analyze experimental results and prepare detailed reports, presentations, and publications.
    • Present research findings to senior staff and the scientific community through papers and conferences.
    • Collaborate with academic and industry partners to apply research findings and develop new techniques.
    • Supervise and train research assistants and other staff members.
    • Contribute to new research proposals and work within multidisciplinary teams across various departments.

    Qualifications and Knowledge:

    • Education: PhD in Medical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven track record in leading research, with experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Nationally recognized certification in animal studies is required.
    • Skills:
      • Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
      • Fluent in English and Hebrew, both written and spoken.
      • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and presentation skills.
      • Independent, logical thinker with flexibility, determination, and motivation.
      • Proficiency in scientific and numerical analysis, with effective communication skills.
