Job Title: Executive - Pilot Plant

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India


Job Overview

The Executive - Pilot Plant will be responsible for ensuring adherence to cGMP, safety, and environmental practices in the pilot plant. The role involves managing the production process, filling Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring the safe handling of hazardous operations. This position requires effective resource utilization and the preparation of documents related to production activities.


Key Responsibilities

Production Operations & Documentation

  • Strict adherence to cGMP, safety regulations, and environmental practices during production operations.
  • Accurately fill Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and equipment cleaning records.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the pilot plant area and its equipment.
  • Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per requirements.
  • Plan and ensure the availability of Raw Materials (RM) for daily production based on the production plan.
  • Maintain documentation such as Issue and Dispensing Registers.
  • Ensure operations are carried out according to BMR without deviations.

Data Integrity & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to data integrity in online documentation.
  • Safely handle hazardous operations as per established safety procedures.
  • Contribute to the effective utilization of resources such as utilities, manpower, and machinery.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant environment is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of cGMP, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
