Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to assist customers with their healthcare needs and maximize health outcomes. This is achieved through filling prescriptions, providing clinical services, offering therapy advice, delivering exceptional customer service, and supervising pharmacy associates. Independent judgment is essential in this position. You are also required to perform tasks in accordance with Rite Aid policies, as well as state and federal laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Engage customers seeking guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological health condition management, utilizing clinical tools and customer-preferred communication methods. 15%
Provide clinical pharmacy services, including adherence support, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority, in line with state regulations. 15%
Leverage products and services to benefit the customer and drive profitable retail business and script growth. 15%
Ensure prescription accuracy and appropriateness through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with DEA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations. 15%
Provide patient care through in-person, telephonic, or digital means, collaborating with providers and care teams to improve health and wellness outcomes. 10%
Assist the Pharmacy Manager in supervising the pharmacy, providing leadership to associates, coaching, and feedback, and overseeing training completion. 10%
Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction. 5%
Complete required company certifications and training, including education on Whole Being Health, holistic wellness, alternative therapies, and regulatory requirements. 5%
Maintain appropriate security of the Pharmacy department. 5%
Ensure adherence to Standard Work, ensuring consistent performance of activities and processes. 5%

  • Pay Rate: $65.00/hour - $71.50/hour

Education Requirements
