Job Description: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) plays a critical, field-based role in the realm of anti-arrhythmia treatments for self-administration outside the emergency department or hospital, focusing on patients with acute episodes of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) and atrial fibrillation (AFib), as well as other episodic cardiovascular conditions.

The MSL will foster scientific partnerships, engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare practitioners (HCPs) locally, regionally, and nationally. This role requires maintaining compliance with regulatory and corporate directives, conducting scientific exchange, and leveraging the MSL’s scientific background, industry knowledge, and business acumen to support strategic decision-making.

As part of a regional therapeutic area MSL team within Field Based Medicine (FBM), the MSL will:

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
  • Serve as a scientific resource to internal stakeholders and engage in field-based scientific exchange (SE).
  • Support Congress activities including planning, attending sessions, and managing KOL engagements.
  • Conduct scientific exchange with KOLs to gather insights that inform scientific objectives (SOs) and organizational strategies.
  • Provide education on disease states and support product-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary EVERSANA Medical Deployment point of contact in the field, reporting to the Senior Director, Medical Excellence and FBM.
  • Mentor and precept other MSLs.
  • Conduct KOL profiling and contribute to pre-launch activities, enhancing scientific knowledge within the therapeutic area.
  • Collaborate across all functions in a seamless, compliant manner to provide scientific support.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines for scientific interactions.
  • Support scientific materials development, training initiatives, and investigator-initiated studies (IIS).

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced Science/Clinical Degree (PharmD, M.D., DO, Ph.D.) with at least 1 year of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or
  • Master’s Level Degree in health sciences (e.g., MS, MSN, MPH, MHA) with 3+ years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience, or
  • BSc. with MBA, or BSN with MBA, and 5+ years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as an MSL, preferably in cardiovascular therapies.
  • Proficient in scientific data interpretation and communicating findings to broad audiences.
  • Comfortable in varied situations, with strong communication skills, ability to manage priorities, and adapt in complex environments.
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
  • ≥60% travel required.

EVERSANA offers competitive salaries and benefits. The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000 (U.S. only), based on relevant experience and location.
